Introducing ZKTeco’s KR500BT. This is a mobile-ready outdoor IP67-rated smart-card proximity reader. In addition to scanning smart-cards, the KR500BT supports Bluetooth functionality for smart-phone users preferring not to carry (or constantly misplacing) a physical card.

Simply have your employees download the Conekt App to their smartphone (available on the Google Play store and the App Store ), register their credentials (which you can purchase here ), and get back to work! Anyone with access to your door will now have the ability to let themselves in with their phones. KR500BT conveniently ships with a single-gang and mullion mount mounting adapter, which allows installers to mount the reader on almost any surface.

This is ideal for securing doors, parking gates, turnstiles, or almost any security device. Bluetooth Reader This proximity card reader is capable of reading bluetooth from up to 15ft away. Using the mobile app, Conekt Wallet App, you can unlock your doors using your smart phone.

Proximity Card Reader In addition to Bluetooth, the KR500BT is capable of reading 13.56 MHz contactless smart-cards. Wiegand-Out Port This reader's built-in Wiegand-Out port allows the reader to be used with most Access Control systems, including ZKTeco Atlas, C3, and InBio door controllers. Mullion-Size Narrow Construction This reader comes with two different mounting options.

With the single-gang wall box mount, you can mount this on a flat surface, such as a wall. But you can also mount this directly to a single gang wall box. With the mullion-size construction, you can intall this in narrow spaces as well.

IP67 Weatherproof Rating This card reader has an Ingress Protection (IP) rating of 67. This means the proximity reader is completely protected from dust and other solid particles. It can also withstand being submerged in 3 feet of water for up to 30 minutes.

Rest assured that when you install your reader outside, it will have no problem withstanding the elements.
